Why I'm Adoring These Rooms...

Hi, guys! I know, I know, I have not been posting much as of lately, and I'd just like to apologize profusely. You see, I was hit with a creative rut, pure laziness, and tiredness from moving (not a legit excuse as that only started on Friday). Nevertheless, I am back this week and will (hopefully!) be spewing out post after post (not literally...maybe) as I am going on vacation in a week (!). And, like the sensible blogger out there in the blog-o-sphere, I will not be posting during that time. I'll schedule some posts, and hopefully you won't hate me too much (sorry/not sorry - here I come Floridaaaaa!).

In the mean time, as I get ready to lounge by the pool, go zip-lining, jet-skiing, and horseback riding, I will share with you all some of my week inspirations that I have come across. What are some things that you have be inspired this past week? (Oh! OH! I got this really cute arrow sign that says 'Beach' on it with a cute starfish shell, and it. is. great. I'll share it in a future 'my new room' post.)

1. The black and white color scheme is amazing. No, really. It is pretty darn amazing especially with the complementary natural light (something that always gives bonus points to a room for me!). I also like the light on the bedside addition - it's pretty cute.

2. It's seldom to see a big couch in a room with no television accompanying it in it. But, well, this room is a perfect example of how a room should be without one. It is pretty simple (and darn amazing) with little else crowding the room besides the ginormous couch centering the floor. Can I also mention how great that green complements the neutral shades of this room? Simply. Amazing. 

3. Once again a room with a sofa and a fireplace (which is pretty amazing, might I add). This screams contemporary perfectness, and I am love love loving it.

4. I don't know whether the high vaulted ceilings or the spontaneous pop of blue has more of love. This tropical type of a room is a place that I could imagine living in (literally...I'd live in it - eat, sleep, breathe). 

5. I love light, pastel colors. And these pretty little dining chairs are one reason why. Just give them a good 'ole look, and I guarantee you'll see what I'm talking about. 

6. It's that one window. Just that one thing that causes me to love this room. Don't get me wrong, the other decor and furniture is pretty nice, too, but gosh! That window...just look and complete that sentence.

7. The colors, the textures, the patterns. 'Nuff said.
