Ukraine Apartment by Elizabeth Danina

Since I am moving within two or three months, I am always on the lookout for inspiration. Bedrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, and living rooms. I am looking for them all. So when the photos of an apartment designed by Elizabeth Danina (a Ukrainian interior designer) got sent to my inbox early this morning, I got so darn excited, it's unfathomable. The color palettes of white, shades of blue, black, and wood; the airy feeling of the space; and the modern/contemporary decor. It was the perfect thing for me to see as I woke up. And, yes, I most definitely got some inspiration from the space.
For starters, note the most glamorous chandelier dangling from the ceiling. It is my favorite accessory from the room, honestly. I am also finding the various shades of blue against the white walls and ceiling rather inviting. That is the benefit of keeping your tones (of walls) neutral - you can play around with your furniture and accessories.
The [focal] brick wall is so. darn. perfect. Keeping it neutral with the white, it brings interest to the room, while not powering over everything else in the room. This wall makes the room more modern than not, and I'm loving it so much!
Pandas, pandas, pandas! And art. And black and white. It is all so pretty together. {I never pictured myself mentioning pandas in the "prettiness" of a room. Hahah.} The light fixture above the bed is also so feminine and chic - I mean flowers. Yes! Yes! YES! Along with that, can I say wall calligraphy is something that I am quickly fancying? Because it is. It is not only classic, but it is glamorous.
I love the blue touches throughout the entire apartment. And I am loving them especially in the bathroom with the pattern it takes on the white wall. It brings flavor to the other-wise neutral space, and that is a great thing to add!

From this awesome apartment, I honestly am loving the brick wall. That is what is really sticking in my head! It is a very pretty sight, and it sets everything else apart, while not overtaking it all. The floral light fixture in the bedroom also wins a spot in my inspiration box (or board, haha, I dunno). Did you gather any inspiration?
