It's Not All About the Guys - Angelina Alexeeva in Moscow

Bachelor pads aren't just for guys. Sure, the name changes from bachelor to bachelorette, but that's the only difference. The wide space, the tons of room - it's all still there. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Bachelor pads are all messy and cluttered, and bachelorette pads are all clean and organized." That's not the truth. In some case scenarios, sure, but mind you, bachelorettes can get just as messy; anyone can be that messy. I'm digressing now. My point is that people are starting to covet the minimalistic, clean spaces. They're more sleek, organized, and relaxing.

To further visually explain my point, keep scrolling so that you can marvel at such sophisticated beauty in the form of  pads designed by Angelina Alexeeva.  She used her talent to design some apartments in Moscow, and you cannot miss it.

Angelina chose a palette of neutrals (gray, white, black), which helps give the room a sophisticated, modern edge. Keeping with the neutral/darker tones, the room is given a masculine feel, yet the white walls keep the space from feeling too closed in, which could easily happen with dark furniture.

There is plenty of space through this pad, but it is all organized so that it looks quite spacious and non-cluttered. I am also thoroughly enjoying the different textures in this room particularly.

My favorite part of this pad is the bathroom. It has a mixture of stones and textures that bring variety to the space.

(Hint: this is the feminine bachelorette pad) With much softer colors (white, teal, gray), this pad provides a variation of texture and patterns. The painted brick wall really makes me fall for this room. It helps the room seem more spacious than it probably is, as the white reflects.

Natural wood and many other textures follow throughout the spaces. Once again, natural light takes over, giving it a serene, fresh look.

I am loving the cooler tones throughout this pad. In particular, the bedroom is a favorite because of the mixed vintage and modern touches. The angled ceiling has to be another favorite of mine. It adds definition to the room.

A bathroom could not be more serene and fit for a spa than this one. The pop of color from the tree is really lovely as it complements the neutral gray and white really well. Instead of taking a completely modernistic approach for this room, Angelina turns it into a contemporary space. I could live in this bathroom. (Ha. Should I be admitting that?)

I fathom my point has been proven to you all. Angelina has done an extremely grand job with designing these two pads. The spaces were well decorated + there was a variety of textures and fun pops of color. What spaces do you have that can be varied with changes of tone, textures, and space?
