When you think about Christmas, what do you envision? Beautiful, bright lights? Food? Gifts? Christmas music? Snow? What about a big Christmas tree? Yes, yes; that IS exactly what comes to mind when the word 'Christmas' is mentioned. I happen to get super excited, too! What's not to like about the holiday? Zilch - exactly.
Even though I have never actually had a real, or big, Christmas tree, I have always dreamt of having one. I think it is because of the woodsy scent accompanied with it, or the millions of ways you can decorate it (not that you can't with a faux tree). Nevertheless, a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree. As the photo above shows, this year, we decided to go with a green tree (I wanted a green one with white faux snow), instead of our normal white tree. There are about two things of lights wrapped around the tree, as well as those frilly, decorative things. The Christmas bells are also an addition to the tree, with three bows laced in glitter around the edges adorning the front of the tree. And (I am not sure if you can see it) instead of the normal star at the top of the tree, we replaced it with a tiny, red bell (like from The Polar Express).
How did you decorate your tree? Custom additions? Oh, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
