Decorate Beach House Fun and Bright

Renting or buying a beach house is one of the best things that can possibly happen to anyone. Beach Houses are possibly one of the most popular residential places for one to live. I mean, it is by the ocean...with sand. And hot guys (or girls)...playing volleyball...or tanning...or just looking, er, hot. {lovely image, but...I. must. get. back. on. topic. Such a struggle.} Whenever I see photographs of a beach house (because I do not have one), they are not usually as vividly colorful as my mind pictured them to be. I never expected most to be more earthy toned with white and tan being the primary colors most times with pops of colors, or a nautical theme.  I always imagined bright yellow, red, green...just a mixture of tons of colors.  Why? Well, bright colors always put me in a better mood, and living next to a beach pretty much guarantees that (for me at least) because it'd have my two favorite things: water and color.

My Guide to a Perfect Beach House Look:

1.) Have bright colors. Bright colors are very pretty and it goes well with the tones of being at a beach house - it's just vivid and fun and just...colors.

2.) Have some earthy tones. Not for the entire house, please. The flooring, walls, and window treatments are perfect ways to install earthy tones. One of my favorite places in a beach house for the earthy tones to be placated is the powder room. Add some shells and some pebbles, and voila! Perfect beach home powder room.

3.) Have a beach collection. This collection can include the basics, such as: starfish, seashells, rocks and antique silver.

4.) Have a hammock.  What is a beach home for? Relaxation. And something that everyone usually does while on vacation (and during their relaxation) is lie down on a hammock.  It is key to a great vacation. A hammock with stripes, mutiple colors, or even just one color would be amazing. 

5.) Have outdoor dining. It always will allow you to have a breath of fresh air and a beautiful view, all the while eating your breakfast, lunch or dinner. And nothing is better than eating with a water-view. Well, unless you are eating seafood, then you just made it very awkward.
